German Department Home

With students and faculty from home and abroad, and resources that reach across the ocean, the German Department is a very exciting place to learn. In addition to offering a multitude of challenging courses, we also invite speakers from across the country and from overseas to offer you opportunities to broaden your German horizons, without the pressure of writing about it or being graded. Whether you're interested in an occasional course or a major, feel welcome to sign up for whatever interests you and to contact us with questions.

Throughout the course of the year, many unique events come up. Sometimes there are speakers from other universities, or even other countries. Other times, there may be information sessions or a lecture from the Brown Bag Lunch Series. Check back here to find out what's going on in the German Department, including the addition of new courses, new faculty, and new opportunities.
