Education:

Karin Ehler, Ph.D., studied Deutsch als Fremdsprache (German as a Foreign Language) in Munich and wrote her dissertation on the teaching of oral language skills and politeness routines, compared to conversation games of the 16th and 17th centuries. She worked as an editor for a journal on media education and as a teacher of German in Munich.
