	Mareen Fuchs, originally from Germany, joined the Graduate Program in German in Fall 2005.

	Education and Background:
	B.A. in Psychology and German with Honors from Rutgers University M.A. in German from Rutgers University Worked for the Center for International Faculty and Student Services at Rutgers (summer 2004)
	Courses Taught at Rutgers:
	Fall 2008: Advanced Conversation & Composition I (German 231) & German in Review (German 121) Spring 2009: Advanced Conversation & Composition II (German 232) Summer 2009: Intermediate German I (German 131) with the Rutgers in Berlin Summer program Fall 2009: Elementary German I (German 101) & German Language Lab I (German 103)
	Academic Interests:
	German 20th century history with a focus on the Third Reich, World War II, and the Holocaust East Germany and the German Identity
	Personal Interests:
	Reading, movies, mountain biking Mareen worked as an Au Pair in the U.S. from 1999-2000 and now publishes a monthly Newsletter for Au Pairs, with the help of other ex-Au Pairs.
