It is my great pleasure to announce and invite you to our spring 2022 graduate student reading group in which we will read and discuss the work of Jewish philosopher, activist, political anarchist, and so-called mystic, Simone Weil (1909–1943).

This reading group is for Graduate students as well as interested undergraduate students and faculty and friends of the Department. All are welcome to join!

We will start after spring break on Thursday, MARCH 24 at 11am, and begin with Weil’s essay “The Iliad, or The Poem of Force.”
