Siavash Talaeizadeh joined the department in Fall 2022 as an Excellence Fellow.

Before joining Rutgers's German Department, I graduated from Tehran University in Spring 2013 with a B.A. in Clinical Psychology. I also completed a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology in Spring 2016 at Shahid Beheshti University in Iran. My dissertation focused on language and narratives in the world of psychosis. I have translated several books into Persian on psychoanalysis and political theory. My research interests include psychoanalysis, autobiography, memory, and utopia. I am an avid reader of W.G. Sebald.
