Nadja von Bossel joined the department in Fall 2024 as a Max Kade/SAS Excellence Fellow.
Nadja graduated from Humboldt Universität zu Berlin in Spring 2024 with a B.A. in Cultural Studies and German Literature after finishing an apprenticeship in Fashion Journalism and a B.A. in Fashion Management and Communication at the University of South Wales in 2021. Her recent bachelor thesis with the title „Exil als Wartesaal: Der Umgang mit persönlicher Entortung im mexikanischen Exil von Anna Seghers“ examined the living and working conditions of German intellectuals in Mexican exile between 1933 and 1945, focusing on representations of alienation in the literary works of Anna Seghers.
